The short version. Use QR My to make and track QR codes for legitimate purposes. Don't put illegal or abusive content on the other end of a redirect. Pay your invoice if you're on a paid plan. We'll keep the service running and treat your data the way the privacy policy says. Either side can stop the relationship at any time.
The agreement
By creating an account on qrmy.app or dashboard.qrmy.app, you agree to these terms. If you're using QR My on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company. The service is operated by QR My ("we" or "us").
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe. Authentication is handled by Clerk; if you suspect your account has been accessed by someone else, change your password immediately and email hello@qrmy.app. One person or one organization per account. Don't share credentials.
Acceptable use
You can use QR My for any legitimate purpose — marketing, signage, hospitality, events, sharing contact details, sharing a WiFi network. You may not use it to:
- Distribute malware, phishing pages, or other malicious payloads.
- Host or redirect to content that is illegal where you operate or where the scan happens — including content sexualizing minors, content infringing copyright, or content promoting violence against a person or group.
- Run unsolicited commercial campaigns that violate anti-spam law (CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, equivalents).
- Attempt to overwhelm, reverse-engineer, or probe for vulnerabilities in the service. (Good-faith security research is welcome — email us first.)
- Resell QR My as a white-label product without a separate written agreement.
We may suspend or remove codes that violate these rules, with or without notice depending on the severity. Repeated or serious violations end the account.
Plans and billing
Pricing is on the home page. Free is $0 with 5 codes and 10,000 scans per month. Pro is $10 per month with 50 codes and 100,000 scans per month. Pro renews monthly until you cancel.
Payment is handled by Stripe. By starting a Pro subscription you authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the Stripe customer portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and your codes stay on Free's limits afterward.
We don't offer refunds for partial months. If we materially change pricing for an existing plan, we'll give at least 30 days' notice; if the change doesn't work for you, cancel before it takes effect.
Service availability
We aim to keep the dashboard and the QR redirect endpoint running with reasonable uptime, but we don't offer a formal service-level agreement at this stage. Planned maintenance is announced in advance when possible. The redirect endpoint is the most important piece — printed codes have to keep working — and it's prioritized accordingly.
Your content
You own everything you put into QR My — the destination URLs, the payloads, the metadata. We get a limited license to host and serve it solely so the product can do its job (rendering codes, redirecting scans, surfacing analytics in your dashboard). When you delete a code or your account, that license ends.
Our content
The QR My software, the dashboard interface, the marketing site, and the brand are ours. You can use the product itself, but you can't copy, repackage, or redistribute the software or brand without written permission.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We can terminate or suspend the service for serious violations of these terms, non-payment, or because we're shutting the service down — in the last case we'll give 60 days' notice and provide a way to export your data.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and (b) USD $100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data.
Changes to these terms
If we make a material change, we'll email registered accounts and post a notice on the dashboard at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the change. If you don't, cancel before then.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where QR My is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless local consumer law gives you a different right.
